LG purifier repair in Pune

What commonly goes wrong with LG purifiers, what causes it, and what a repair visit actually involves.

What is different about servicing LG

LG's Puricare units are engineered differently from most of the market: a stainless steel tank instead of plastic, and a self-sanitising cycle intended to keep it clean. The upside is that stored-water taint is rare; the downside is that when something does go wrong it is usually electronic, and parts are model-specific rather than generic. We confirm the model number before committing to any part.

Every visit starts the same way: we find out what is actually wrong, tell you what it will cost, and only then start work.

Common faults

What usually goes wrong with LG purifiers

The symptoms we are called out for most, and what is normally behind them.

  • Error code shown on the display panel

LG surfaces faults as codes rather than warning lights. The code narrows it down substantially — send a photo of the display and we can usually tell you what is involved before the visit.

  • Sterilising or self-clean cycle not completing

A fault in the heating or control circuit that drives the cycle. Worth attending, as the tank's cleanliness depends on that cycle running.

  • Reduced flow from the dispenser

Filter cartridges at end of life, or a membrane that has fouled. LG cartridges are proprietary, so this needs the right part rather than a generic equivalent.

  • Unit unresponsive or not powering up

Power supply or main board. This is a diagnosis before it is a repair, and we tell you what we find before doing anything.

Not sure which of these matches your unit? Send a photo on WhatsApp and we will tell you what we think it is before quoting.

Parts

Genuine LG spares

LG Puricare cartridges are proprietary and model-matched — generic equivalents do not fit correctly and can compromise the tank's self-sanitising cycle. We source genuine LG parts against the model number.

Questions

LG repair in Pune

What people ask before booking a repair visit.

My LG purifier has stopped working — what does it cost to repair?
We diagnose first and quote before any work begins, so you approve the cost up front. Call +91 81800 55595 or send a photo of the unit on WhatsApp and we can usually narrow it down before the visit.
Do you repair LG purifiers bought elsewhere?
Yes. We service LG units regardless of where they were bought, including out-of-warranty machines. If your unit is still in warranty, it is usually worth going through the brand first — we will tell you if that applies.
Do you use genuine LG parts?
LG Puricare cartridges are proprietary and model-matched — generic equivalents do not fit correctly and can compromise the tank's self-sanitising cycle. We source genuine LG parts against the model number. The part that comes out is shown to you and handed over, and the next service due date is recorded.
Which LG models can you repair?
We are trained across the LG range and stock spares for common models such as Puricare WW182EP, Puricare WW180EP, WW151NP. If yours is not listed we most likely still repair it — send a photo to confirm.
Is it worth repairing an old LG purifier or replacing it?
It depends on what has failed. A membrane or cartridge stage is a routine replacement; a failed pump or control board on a very old unit can cost enough that a new purifier makes more sense. We tell you which case you are in and let you decide, rather than quoting only for a replacement.
