Kent purifier repair in Pune

What commonly goes wrong with Kent purifiers, what causes it, and what a repair visit actually involves.

What is different about servicing Kent

Kent's mineral-RO design puts a TDS controller after the membrane, blending a measured amount of unpurified water back into the output. It is the part most often mis-set after a DIY filter change, and it is why a Kent that has just been serviced elsewhere can taste flat or unusually salty. Most Kent complaints we attend are the cartridge stack or that controller, not the pump.

Every visit starts the same way: we find out what is actually wrong, tell you what it will cost, and only then start work.

Common faults

What usually goes wrong with Kent purifiers

The symptoms we are called out for most, and what is normally behind them.

  • Water tastes flat or unusually salty after a service

The TDS controller has been left at the wrong setting, or reconnected the wrong way round, after a cartridge change. Re-setting it against a measured inlet reading fixes the taste without replacing anything.

  • Purifier runs constantly and never fills the tank

Usually a tired RO membrane or a float/pressure switch that is no longer cutting off. On higher-TDS supplies the membrane fouls faster than the manual's interval suggests.

  • UV lamp indicator lit on an RO+UV model

The lamp has reached the end of its useful output. UV lamps keep glowing well after they stop disinfecting effectively, so the indicator matters more than whether you can see light.

  • Water leaking from the cabinet base

Push-fit connectors that have loosened, or a cracked cartridge housing. Both are common where the unit is wall-mounted on a surface that flexes.

Not sure which of these matches your unit? Send a photo on WhatsApp and we will tell you what we think it is before quoting.

Parts

Genuine Kent spares

Kent uses a sediment and carbon pre-filter stage ahead of the RO membrane, with a post-carbon polish and — on mineral-RO models — the TDS controller. We fit genuine, brand-matched cartridges and show you the parts that come out.

Questions

Kent repair in Pune

What people ask before booking a repair visit.

My Kent purifier has stopped working — what does it cost to repair?
We diagnose first and quote before any work begins, so you approve the cost up front. Call +91 81800 55595 or send a photo of the unit on WhatsApp and we can usually narrow it down before the visit.
Do you repair Kent purifiers bought elsewhere?
Yes. We service Kent units regardless of where they were bought, including out-of-warranty machines. If your unit is still in warranty, it is usually worth going through the brand first — we will tell you if that applies.
Do you use genuine Kent parts?
Kent uses a sediment and carbon pre-filter stage ahead of the RO membrane, with a post-carbon polish and — on mineral-RO models — the TDS controller. We fit genuine, brand-matched cartridges and show you the parts that come out. The part that comes out is shown to you and handed over, and the next service due date is recorded.
Which Kent models can you repair?
We are trained across the Kent range and stock spares for common models such as Grand Plus, Supreme Plus, Pearl, Ace Plus. If yours is not listed we most likely still repair it — send a photo to confirm.
Is it worth repairing an old Kent purifier or replacing it?
It depends on what has failed. A membrane or cartridge stage is a routine replacement; a failed pump or control board on a very old unit can cost enough that a new purifier makes more sense. We tell you which case you are in and let you decide, rather than quoting only for a replacement.
